The web is full of "comparison" sites that just repeat marketing claims. They show promo prices because those are what vendors want you to see — and what earns the site the highest commissions.
We think that's broken.
Our Mission
PriceWorld exists to expose the true cost of web services. We track:
- Renewal prices — what you'll actually pay in year 2 and beyond
- Hidden add-ons — pre-selected extras that inflate your bill
- Total cost of ownership — year 1, year 2, year 3 costs
- Price changes over time — historical tracking of how prices shift
How We Work
Independent Verification
Every price we publish is manually verified by going through vendor checkout flows. We don't rely on press releases or marketing materials.
Archived Evidence
We take timestamped screenshots of pricing pages as evidence. When vendors dispute our data, we have proof.
Last-Checked Dates
Prices change. We show when we last verified each price so you know how current our data is. If something's stale, we say so.
No Paid Placements
Our rankings are based on actual data, not on who pays us the most. Yes, we have affiliate relationships, but they don't influence our rankings.
Our Approach to Revenue
We're transparent about this: we earn money through affiliate links. When you click a link and buy something, we may get a commission.
But here's the thing — we include accurate pricing data even when it makes vendors look bad. A 502% renewal shock is a 502% renewal shock, whether or not we have an affiliate relationship.
Some links may earn us a commission, but this never influences our rankings or data.
What We Cover
We're starting with web hosting — it's one of the worst offenders for deceptive pricing. We're expanding to email marketing platforms, domain registrars, and other tools that power online businesses.
